Kasson, MN—Brody Lamb (So., Byron) returned to action after missing three games and immediately made an impact notching three goals in the Wildcats 4-2 win. Lamb scored in each period with the trick coming at 11:16 of the third period. Carl Schutz (So., Pine Island) scored his first varsity goal at 16:06 of the third period on a top-shelf wrist shot the Scots goalie never saw. Isaac Dale (So., Pine Island) made 20 saves and notched his fifth win of the season.

Dodge County has been skating short-handed all season. Charlie Blaisdell (Jr. Kasson-Mantorville), James McPeak (So., Byron), and Matt Donovan (So., Kasson-Mantorville) all sat out with various injuries and ailments. Blaisdell is expected to return for the Kiwanis Tournament, McPeak is day-to-day and Donovan could be out for the season.

Junior Varsity

The Wildcats dominated play in the JV game beating the Scots 6-1 behind a hat trick from Aaron Yeigh (Jr., Kasson-Mantorville) and stellar goal-tending from Ben Nelson (Fr., Kasson-Mantorville).

Next game

The Wildcats return from Christmas Break to play New Richmond, WI on 12/26 in the Kiwanis Holiday Hockey Tournament at Graham Arena in Rochester, MN. Puck drops for Varsity at 12:30 pm Graham 1 and JV at 3:15 p.m. versus New Richmond Graham Arena 2.

Following the 4-2 win on Thursday night, Isaac Dale (So., Pine Island) and Carl Schutz (So., Pine Island) make time to ring bells for the Salvation Army. Dale recorded his 5th win of the season and Schutz scored his first varsity goal. The Wildcats return to action on 12/26 at 12:30 p.m. versus New Richmond at Graham Arena.
